Press Room 

The NBTA International Convention & Exposition is the premier event in the corporate travel industry, for both the media and travel suppliers. The annual event offers journalists many opportunities to learn more about the business travel industry and to hear first-hand from the professionals who manage business travelers across the globe and the vendors that make safe, productive and cost effective travel possible, while providing exhibitors with a number of media relations opportunities to convey their company’s message.

Journalist Information

Why Attend?
Learn why you, as a journalist, should attend the 2009 NBTA Convention.

Media Registration
Working members of the media interested in attending the NBTA Convention should contact NBTA Media Relations for a press registration form.

Press Room
The Press Room will be located in room 27B of the San Diego Convention Center. For the convenience of attending media, the Press Room includes computers, printers, and meeting space.

Press Conference Room
The Press Conference Room will be located in room 27A of the San Diego Convention Center.

Request Interviews
Journalists should contact NBTA Media Relations for interview requests with NBTA spokespeople and any other resources they may need onsite.

Exhibitor Information

Press Materials
Exhibitors and sponsors are welcome to place media releases, materials and kits in the Press Room 27B for daily distribution to registered media. Shipments will not be accepted to this room. Please hand-carry all press materials to the Press Room.

Registered Media List
A list of media registered for the NBTA Convention is available to all exhibitors and sponsors upon request. This list will include reporters’ names, titles, publications and e-mail addresses, and will be distributed weekly to those who have requested to receive it. To be added to the distribution list, please contact NBTA Media Relations.

How to Schedule Press Conferences
The Press Conference Room (27A) is available for exhibitors and sponsors for special announcements and new product and service introductions. For more information, available time slots, costs and cancellation policy, please contact NBTA Media Relations. All conferences are subject to review and approval by NBTA. It is the sole responsibility of exhibiting companies and sponsors to promote press conferences. A complete schedule of press conferences will be posted in the press room and to the NBTA Convention Online Press Room.

How to Post Press Releases to NBTA Convention Press Room
NBTA is pleased to offer exhibitors a unique tool for expanding their public relations reach at the 2009 NBTA Convention. With one posting to the online NBTA Convention Press Room, your announcement will be sent via multiple mediums to:

  • All Convention attendees
  • NBTA members who are unable to attend the Convention
  • Journalists registered for Convention
  • An additional targeted list of reporters who cover business travel

The NBTA Convention Online Press Room will be active soon.
